Am I Ready For Love?

Dani smiled and took the food he'd offered.

Drake smiling and gave a little head tilt again, So, did I lie or tell you the truth? You like it?" He asked, hoping she would like it. He didn't want to feed her food that made her throw up or gag to death.

"It's amazing," Dani said after she'd finished.

So the two went on to enjoy a little bit of eating in silence, just glances and smiles were traded with one another. After a couple minutes Drake looked at Dani and smiled, blushing he said "Dani, I like you. I would want to be more than just friends with you. I would understand if this is too soon, but still, I would want to be more than your friend."

Dani nodded. "Truth be told I'd like to be more than friends with you too," Dani said.

Drake let out a big sigh, he was holding his breath waiting on the answer, and turns out he got the answer he wanted. He smiled, "Really? Your not just trying to pull my leg?" He just couldn't believe it and wanted to make sure he wasn't being messed with.

"I mean it Drake," Dani said.

He smiled again, he couldn't help but to smile. Dani wanted to be an item, and now he was happy. "Well, do you say we wrap it up here and head on back to your place? It is getting late, about eight-thrity, the time just flew by it seemed." Drake wasn't exaggerating either, about three hours went by since she bumped into him earlier.

"Sounds like a plan to me," Dani said.

Drake smiled and pulled out his wallet, he grabbed a fifty from the numerous bills and layed it on the table. "That should be enough to pay for it and leave a suitable tip." Drake turned to her and held out his hand, "Should we go now, Dani?"

Dani stood up and nodded. "Let's go," she smiled.

The two graciously made their ways toward the door, passing numerous people in booths and tables. The smell was pleasing, but sort of made Drake sick at his stomache, him being stuffed from the meal he just ate. He looked and saw that their waiter was pleased with the fifty he left, and nodded in approval as they soon made their way to the door, and exited the eating establishment together. Together, as in a couple.
