Late for work

I ran down the little street full pelt. Knocking over some stuff, I was half an hour late. I'd been busy looking into my past down at the libary I'd forgotten I had work today. I hadn't managed to find anything new out, but I'd emailed my antie the other day and she said she had my mothers old dairy were she'd recorded the last few week's of her life. My antie had never read it and didn't think she would so she said she'd send me it in the post.

I rushed into the small door and ran striaght into the kitchen putting my stuff on the side and grabbing my apron thing, then heading back out of the door to take someone's order.

I went inside to take a drink and sat down at a table. I took the menu and looked at it. I smiled when i saw flaming coffee. I could make it flame very well. I smiled again and waited for a waitress.

I walked over to the redhaired girl and smiled. Can I take your order? I asked sweetly, but my mind was somewhere else wondering what would be in that diary.

I smiled did i knew the girl somewhere? '' yeah fire coffee please and that's it for me for now '' I smiled she seemed to be far away then smiled. '' Sit down would you you seemed very stressed right now ''

I smiled One Second. I went into the kitchen & came out with a mug of coffee. I sat down opposite the girl. I recognized her but I could't put a name to her face. Hey, Do I know you from somewhere? I asked

'' Well my uncle owns this place and school i guess '' I took a sip of my coffee and smiled. '' calm down he won't fire you I'm good in convincing '' I winked. I waved at my uncle and smiled at the girl. '' have my own house from now on and it is my grans old house full of stuff which are very dumb old necklaces and diamonds with cards where she wrote names on '' I rolled my eyes. '' how are you anyways? ''

I smiled. I'm good.. now you? I asked

'' fine i guess ''

I strolled into the café and spotted two girls who I hadn't met before. As part of my natural instinct, I skipped towards them and held out my hand.
"Hey! I'm Becca."

'' hey I'm hayley nice to meet you '' The becca girl was weird i didn't trust her for a minute.

I noticed that Hayley sounded as if she didn't trust me at all. I sighed quietly.

I fought with my brain and came out on top. I wouldn't use my gift on Hayley.
I pulled my hand back, a little upset. I nodded politely. "Nice to meet you Hayley."

'' sure I got to go home my house is a bit f a mess so i'l leave you guys with eachother '' I said a bit develish and walked out.

I nodded and smiled. "See you later Hayley!" I called before she left.

'' whatever '' i called back.

I sighed. I had to make things up with Hayley. This was my first day here and I knew no-one ! I wanted to make friends and I wanted to make friends with Hayley. I followed her, also remembering the conversation with the guy in the resturant.

I waited for the red lights in the rain!. I hated water it made me feel like something weak. I rolled my eyes and waited.

I hopped into my car and followed Hayley subtley. About three or four cars behind her.

I went down the ally and took the long road until my house came closer. Damn it was huge from here. I opened the door and walked in.
