Jinx's eyes lit up.She just nodded.Wow her own flying lesson, she would like that alot.She never thought she would like any sort of lesson she wasn't one for learning but she was really excited about this one.

"Yeah, lets go! " She said and she hopped of the bench.

Valentine smiled as she saw how excited Jinx was about this "flying lesson". Not a big surprise for Valentine here, who wouldn't love flying? Well, Valentine did, for sure. She loved flying. It made her feel free and independent, which she loved. It was a great feeling.

"Okay." Valentine said still smiling, as she stood up from the bench and went straight, to the very end of the park, checking back soon to see if Jinx was following. Then she finally stopped. It was very quiet and lonely place. There was absolutely no sign of people here. "Well, there are no people here, but it's still better to turn invisible, isn't it? So, they won't notice us." Valentine said as she turned invisible to human eyes, and waited for Jinx to do the same. "Just concentrate." Valentine said.

Jinx was so excited, when she saw Valentine going she was froze where she was standing. But when she saw Valentine looking back at her she smiled and shook her head, then took off full speed.She was quite quick for her age and her short legs so she was over to Valentine in two secs.She found herself looking up at Valentine, and she had to squint her eyes because the sun was shining in their direction.

Valentine said invisible, it sent an electric shock of excitment through Jinxxy.She was nervous though, what if she did something wrong?She couldn't think about that now though and being the optimistic person she was she pushed it to the back of her mind.She could see Valentine anymore and she did as she said and concentrated. "Okay" She whispered. She found she was thinking of it a bit but she could tell if she was invisible beacsuse her eyes where closed. So she waited for Valentine to say something.

Valentine looked at Jinx. She could easily tell if a faerie was invisible or not, even though she could still see faeries when they were invisible. She stared at Jinx thoughtfully, and she concentrated herself to see if Jinx was invisible or not.

"Great! You did it! See, it isn't that hard." Valentine said happily, smiling at Jinx, and turned herself invisible too. "Now humans can't see us... You can make yourself visible again any time you wish." Valentine explained and waited for Jinx to open her eyes.

Jinx smiled at her when she heard she had done it. To be honest she didn't feel any different, she sort of felt a bit lighter maybe but that was all. She had just close her eyes and concentrated, on the park without her being there, being seethrough, just her spirit being there, everything and anything she could think of to do with being invisible.It didn't take too much just a few little thoughts." I did! " She said.

She opened her eyes and looked at her arm she could see it but somehow she could tell she was invisible.It was strange, to Jinx anyway. She could tell it wasn't to Valentine.She looked over at her, she could tell she was invisible too."Okay what next?" She asked.

Valentine was excited. She hadn't flied in a long period of time - she simply didn't have time for that. And now she could fly again, that was great! Flying was a great way of relaxation, if not the greatest one.

"Now... We can start our flying lesson!" Valentine said enthusiastically, which was really seldom for her. Maybe it was Jinx who made her feel enthusiastic by her own enthusiasm. Who knows. "It might not be as easy as turning invisible though... It's pretty hard to keep balance with so tiny wings." Valentine said, opened the back of her shirt, and her little wings were already visible.

"Kay Im ready" She said.She couldn't wait to fly, it never occured to her she would fly.Jinx had to try to stay calm though as she needed to listen whcih she didn't do often but this was exciting it would be easy to listen to.Valentine was her friend and she always listened to her friends.

When she said it would be harder, Jinx had a little moment of panic but like before she pushed it to the back of her mind and took a deep breath.She watched Valentine's wings appeariing, wondering how she was going to do that.

Valentine smiled at Jinx, as she saw how much she wanted to learn to fly, and she understood why. Who wouldn't want to learn flying? In fact, it was one of those few things that Valentine liked in being a faerie.

Valentine moved closer to Jinx. "First of all, you must really believe that you have wings, and then wish for wings to make them appear, or rather become visible to other people's eyes." Valentine said, and turned Jinx around so she could see if the wings appeared on her back. "And don't forget, you must concentrate really hard on this one." Valentine added.

Jinx closed her eyes put this time she scruched them.This times she had her hands in fists.She shut off hre senses and pushed all other thoughts out of her mind.She believed she had wings.She sort of felt them coming out of her back a bit, but she didn't stop because she wasn't sure.Then she was sure they were fully out she tryed to flutter them a bit so she would know.She heard them and her eyes flew open.

Valentine stared at Jinx's back, waiting for her wings to appear. She was sure that Jinx could do that, the main was concentration... Ad right after some minutes, a little wings appeared on Jinx's back. Valentine smiled happily.

"Oh, you have so cute wings!" Valentine exclaimed and looked at Jinx's wings. "Great, now we can start flying too!" Valentine told Jinx. "Try moving your wings!"

Jinx looked back smiling.Her wings were cute, she could almost see a yellowish colur on them but it could have been the light.She had never learned so much in such as short time.She concentrated again on her wings moving . And then she heard them, they were quick too."Its working" Jinx said and she could feel herself lifting off the ground.

Valentine smiled excited. She would even laugh - if she was normal person. What was wrong with her, you ask? Well, her mother's death, her stepmother's mean behavior towards her, it was everything that affected her so much. And not only those, but also the mysterious murders too, they hurt her heart a lot.

"Great! Wait, be careful!" Valentine said worried, as she saw how the wings lifted Jinx in the air. Valentine lifted herself up a bit too, trying to keep herself close to Jinx. Then took her hand, so she wouldn't lose her balance, which was really easy. "Now try to keep your balance without my hand." Valentine said and slowly took her hand away from Jinx's, but she was still very close, so she would help Jinx anytime she needed it.

Jinx spread out her arms like she would when she was pretending to be an airplane as a kid.She was a dancer she had good flexiblity and balance.It wasn't much different in the air.She knew her limits but she had to work hard to kepp within them."Kay" She said as concentrated hard.

Valentine stared at Jinx as she tried to keep balance. In fact, she was very good at it, which made Valentine happy. She smiled and said, "Oh, you are good at it."

Then Valentine moved a bit higher in the air, and pushed Jinx so she could move a bit higher too. "now let's move higher, but be careful, keep your balance, don't fall down!" Valentine said smiling, as she flew around Jinx.

"I feel like a tiny airoplane "Jjnx laughed.She had taken swimming lessons before and she started to move her legs like a frog.She pulled them in towards her and then she flicked them out.She did the same with her arms.She moved up ward a bit, so she was as tall as Valentine. Their heads at the same level.She looked over to her "Thanks " Jinx said with a smile.

Valentine stared at Jinx as she tried to fly, and a small smile appeared on her lips. Then she kept flying, but this time faster, so Jinx could learn flying faster too. Flying fast felt a lot better - obviously because of the adrenaline.

"Yep, you look like a tiny airplane." Valentine joked, but in fact she really did look like a tiny airplane. "You are welcome." Valentine added as her smile became happier. She liked helping people, and seeing people thankful of her. She smiled at Jinx and kept flying.

"So are all your family faeries? " Jinx asked, she wondered who taught Valentine this.Jinx slowed down and just floated about for a bit. Going slowly and taking it all in.The scenery, the clear blue sky she was in and the many trees down below her. She could see far away too. She could see it all.

Valentine slowed down too, starting thinking about her family. Yes, her whole family were faeries, she was a pure blood. Her mother died when she was very young, so her father taught her everything she knew about faeries. Even though her father never had time for her, he still somehow managed to teach her and her brother more about faeries, and even flying.

"Yes, my both parents were faeries... And my stepmother and half brother are also faeries." Valentine said, a little tone of sadness appearing in her voice. She just couldn't remember her mother without becoming a bit sad.

"Oh your Mom's not here anymore?" Jinx asked. It wasn't a good question but it slipped out. Jinx didn't know how to handle them situations. She was only little, but she tried her best. And even she knew she shouldn't have said that but she didn't know what else to say. She defintely didn't know what to say then.

Valentine smiled with her usual sad smile, which was way worse than tears... Then sighed and nodded her head. Yes, her mother wasn't here anymore - for a long time already. She left Valentine all alone. She felt like she didn't have anyone at all...

"Yes... She died when I was very little." Valentine said. She was already accustomed to these situations, so she didn't feel bad at all. She had to talk about it with every person she met, so it was already fine with her. Then Valentine remembered that Jinx didn't have mother anymore either - she didn't die, but she abandoned her - and it was way worse than death. Or so Valentine thought.

"Oh" Jinx said and she gave her a hug. She didn't know if Valentine saw it coming, or if she wanted one, but Jinx knew she would have wanted a hug. When she ulled back she gave a little smile. "So what's your dad like?" She asked thinking about her Dad.It made her smile when she did.

Valentine was a bit surprised when Jinx hugged her, but she kind of even liked it, because she had barely hugged someone in her entire life. It made Valentine smile. Jinx was so sweet. Valentine would really love to have a sister like her.

"My dad? Well, he's a lawyer. He's a bit cold towards people, so it's hard for me even to say if he loves me or not... He never really has time for me, he works too much." Valentine said, sighing. She always wished that her father could hug her at least once, but he never did. Jinx's hug made her feel way better. And she wished that her father could do the same when she was little, or at least having her mother alive, by her side.

Jinxy smiled "I'm sure he does just some people find it harder to show than others, " Jinx said. She had met cold people but they always were nice to the people they loved."My Dad's a bit of a workaholic too but he's almost always home when we are or we are always in the garage" Jinx said. Yes it was alwaysone of the two. Not that he didn't trust them alone, they just always were together.He wasn't like Im the parent your the kids, they were lways together doing the same things like equals.

Valentine thought about it a lot, especially when she was a kid. About her father - if he loved her or not. But time passed by, and she decided that it would be stupid to keep waiting that he would ever somehow show it to her, so she would be already way too impressed if he showed it somehow, and in fact, she wasn't waiting for it anymore. She was just happy that at least he didn't hate her, like her stepmother did.

Valentine flied around a bit, thinking, then spoke. "Well, I guess you are right..." Valentine said, though she didn't want to think about it anymore. She always felt like no one loved her, and it hurt her at first... Before she got accustomed to it. But she never really understood why no one loved her, while she loved everyone, or at least, was kind to everyone. And it happened unintentionally. She didn't mean to, but she even fell in love - which was like impossible to her. She could never imagine herself in love.

"Well, it's still great to have a father who shows that he loves you and cares about you really..." Valentine said slowly, then smiled, trying to push away the bad thoughts. "Oh, you learned flying so quickly! You're talented." Valentine said smiling.

Jinx had turned around to hover horitzontaly on her back. Like she was lying down. "Not really, I jsut listened. Your a good teacher," Jinx smiled. Valentine explained it all in a way that was simple to Jinx and she made it simple for her. She was sure she wouldn't have done it so well if it was anyone else but Valentine. "Have you ever thought of being a teacher?" She asked. Jinxy was sure it would be a good job for her, she was smart too. "Or do you know what you are going to be?" Jinx thought most people in college had a fair idea. She had no clue, she'd probably end up working for her Dad. In whatever business he owned at the time.It was currrently a garage, Jinx would love to learn to fix cars. She guessed she had just made up her mind there now.
